Summary

2021-02-19: A privately registered Cessna R172K from Fort St. John, BC (CYXJ) to Fort St. John, BC (CYXJ) landed on Runway 21 and indicated that it was going to perform a circuit (CCT). The Cessna R172K began to move, then informed the flight service station (FSS) that it had dropped something and would be turning around to pick it up. This caused a privately registered Piper PA-18-150 from Fort St. John, BC (CYXJ) to Fort St. John, BC (CYXJ) on short final to conduct an overshoot for Runway 21. The Cessna R172K subsequently picked up the item and returned to the main apron. No further impact to operations.
