2020-02-12: A Pacific Coastal Airlines Limited Beech 1900D (C-GMFU/PCO869) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Port Hardy, BC (CYZT), departed off Runway 08R, was turned right and cleared to 7,000. The aircraft climbed to 7,400 before being queried and subsequently descended back down to 7,000. A westbound Air Canada Airbus A320-211 (C-FKCK/ACA971) from Puerto Vallarta/Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz, Mexico (MMPR) to Vancouver, BC (CYVR) that was 1NM Southeast (SE) of PCO869 with clearance to 8,000, was re-cleared to 8,500.
