Incident at STONY RAPIDS SK (CYSF)

Summary

2020-07-29: At 2039Z, a secondary surveillance radar (SSR) target was observed entering the Stony Rapids, SK (CYSF) mandatory frequency (MF) area from the Northwest (NW) at 033 above sea level (ASL) (unverified) without establishing radio communication with the flight service station (FSS). The FSS made a “blind call” on the MF for the aircraft to identify itself and the pilot responded as a privately registered Cessna A185E “at three point five” en route to La Ronge (Barber Field), SK (CYVC).
