Incident at TROIS-RIVIÈRES QC (CYRQ)

Summary

2019-11-06: Aviation incident report #16395: Universal communications (UNICOM) reported that a Hélipsair Inc. Robinson R22 Beta (C-GZGC) arrived in the Trois-Rivières, QC (CYRQ) zone on the wrong frequency, that is, 123.00 MHz instead of 122.350 MHz. The new frequency had been in effect since July 19, 2018. The pilot noticed the frequency only once he was on the ground. Afterwards, the aircraft conducted a few touch-and-go landings with very minimal radio communication, neglecting several times to establish radio communication in the circuit. The change of frequency was published in the Canada Flight Supplement (CFS) from July 19, 2018.
