Incident at VANCOUVER INTL BC (CYVR) (Bird presence, Incursion - runway - animal)
2019-09-09: A North Cariboo Flying Service British Aerospace Avro 146 (C-FSUA/NCB2001) from Sandspit, BC (CYZP) to Vancouver Intl, BC (CYVR) reported a bird strike landing Runway 08L.
2019-11-15: UPDATE from Airworthiness: A Civil Aviation Safety Inspector (CASI) looked into this occurrence. The operator contacted Transport Canada to provide the following correction: the flight crew reported to the tower that they had a small flock of birds around the 1000 marker on landing. They did not encounter a bird strike, the report was a proactive observation provided as information to the tower.
