Incident at VANCOUVER INTL BC (CYVR)

Summary

2019-04-08: A Jazz de Havilland DHC-8-402 (C-FSRW/JZA8073) from Vancouver, BC (CYVR) to Victoria, BC (CYYJ) returned to CYVR due to a gear issue. The aircraft landed safely on Runway 08L at 2346Z.
2019-04-30: UPDATE from Airworthiness: A Civil Aviation Safety Inspector (CASI) looked into this occurrence. After Landing Gear retraction the R/H Gear Door advisory light remained illuminated. The Cabin Crew confirmed that the door remained open. The flight returned to CYVR. Maintenance performed Gear Swings and found that the L/H and R/H Main Gear aft doors failed to close. The Built-In-Test for the (PSEU) Proximity Sensor Electronic Unit did not identify any faults. The PSEU was replaced and a satisfactory Landing Gear Operational Test completed. The aircraft was returned to service. SDR NO. 20190410012 has been submitted.
