Incident at CALGARY INTL AB (CYYC) (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)
2019-11-27: An IFL Group, Inc. Dassault Falcon 20 (IFL521) on a flight from Kansas City Intl, MO (KMCI) to Calgary Intl, AB (CYYC) conducted a go around Runway 35L due to an indication in the cockpit. No impact to operations.
2019-12-06: UPDATE AOR 259020-V2: The pilot of an IFL Group Dassault Falcon 2 (IFL521) on a flight form Kansas City Intl, MO (KMCI) to Calgary Intl, AB (CYYC) initiated a go around from short final Runway 35L due to a warning light at 0621Z. Emergency declared when turning final and returning to land. Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) called out at that time. The aircraft landed Runway 35R at 0645Z. The aircraft was disabled on the runway until 0703Z, then taxied under its own power to Sunwest Aviation. Arriving traffic moved to Runway 35L to accommodate disabled aircraft.
2020-01-31: Update TSB Report #A19W0156: N521FL an IFL Group Inc. Dassault Falcon 20 was operating as flight IFL521 from Kansas City (KMCI), MO to Calgary Intl. (CYYC), AB. While on short final to Runway 35L, at approximately 3000 feet AGL, the flight crew lowered the landing gear and received a landing gear unsafe warning light. The flight crew conducted a missed approach and actioned the QRH. While on final to Runway 35R, the flight crew declared an emergency and landed uneventfully. Maintenance troubleshooting identified moisture in the landing gear position switch.
