Summary

2019-11-29: A WestJet Boeing 737-800 (C-GOCD/WJA246) from Toronto/Lester B. Pearson, ON (CYYZ) to Halifax/Stanfield, NS (CYHZ) reported a possible bird strike while landing on Runway 32. An Air Canada Airbus A321-211 (C-GIUF/ACA609) from Halifax/Stanfield, NS (CYHZ) to Toronto/Lester B. Pearson, ON (CYYZ) was delayed a few minutes awaiting the completion of the runway inspection. No remains found. No other operational impact.
2019-12-06: UPDATE from Airworthiness: A Civil Aviation Safety Inspector (CASI) looked into this occurrence. The crew believed they may have struck some birds, however, a walk around showed no evidence of a bird strike. It was discovered, however, that the aircraft experienced a small flap overspeed. Flap/slat overspeed inspection carried out, no faults found.
