Summary

2018-06-21: A Jazz de Havilland DHC-8-402 (C-FSRW/JZA8076) from Victoria International, BC (CYYJ) to Vancouver International, BC (CYVR) reported smoke in the cabin on taxi for departure. The Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) unit responded to the aircraft. The cabin inspection revealed a bag with a heavy smoke smell from a recent camping trip. The flight returned to the gate and shutdown. No operational impact.
