Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2015-09-28: A Canlink Aviation Diamond DA 20-C1 (C-FSXA) on a local flight from Fredericton, NB (CYFC) called the Tower 10 miles north inbound for landing. After numerous attempts to contact the aircraft, it was determined the aircraft was transmit only. At 0138Z, aircraft squawked 7600 for communication failure and proceeded inbound to the field. Tower gave the light gun 4 miles north and the aircraft read back cleared to land Runway 27. The aircraft landed safely at 0146Z and taxied to the college. No operational impact.
