Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2015-09-04: A privately registered Diamond DA40 from St-Hyancinthe, QC (CSU3) to Moncton, NB (CYQM) entered the control zone without authorization. The aircraft entered the zone on a straight in approach to the opposite end of the active Runway 29. The aircraft was at 1,500 feet ASL and 4 NM off departure end of Runway 29 when initial contact was made with tower. Previous attempts by the tower to contact the aircraft were unsuccessful. No impact on operations.
