Summary

2015-09-15: UPDATE: TSB Report#A15A0056: The Delta Air Lines Airbus A330 (registration N818NW, operating as DAL245), was on a flight from Rome, Italy to New York/JFK with the number two generator on maintenance carry over (MCO). In cruise, the crew received a fault message for the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) and was unable to reset the APU generator. The crew declared an emergency and diverted to Keflavik, Iceland, where they landed safely without further incident.
2015-08-31: AT 1618Z, a Delta Air Lines Airbus A330-300 (N818NW/ DAL245) from Rome, Italy (LIRF) to New York, NY (KJFK) declared an emergency and requested direct Keflavik, Iceland (BIKF) due to a generator problem. Flight was descended to FL300 and cleared direct BIKF. No traffic was affected and flight exited airspace without further incident.
