Summary

2015-08-24: Update from Commercial & Business Aviation: The company has debriefed the pilot and recommended procedures with respect to a missed approach while visually manoeuvring. An action plan has been developed in response to this occurrence.
2015-08-11: A WestJet Encore de Havilland DHC-8-400 (WEN3406) from Toronto, ON (CYYZ) to Fredericton, NB (CYFC) was cleared for a straight in Instrument Landing System (ILS) 15 circling Runway 27 approach with heavy thunderstorm activity. While talking to Tower on approach for Runway 27, the pilot lost site of field and broke off the approach. The Moncton controller issued a 080 heading but due to heavy thunderstorm activity the aircraft continued a southerly heading. When the aircraft finally was able to avoid the weather and started turn on the heading the aircraft had infringed on CYR724. Controller took action to vector the aircraft out of restricted airspace as soon as possible.
