Incident at SAINT JOHN NB (CYSJ)


2015-07-21: Aviation Incident Report#13969: A Jazz de Havilland DHC-8-400 (JZA8949) from Saint John, NB (CYSJ) to Toronto, ON (CYYZ) was at CYSJ when an aircraft refuelling company started to fuel (automatic fuelling method) aircraft #403 with a fuel request of 11724 and checked the high level shut off which stopped the flow. Then when tank 2 reached 5800 lbs of fuel burped out of the wing vent onto the ground. The passengers and crew were deplaned and the spill was contained and cleaned up. There was a delay of departure.
