Incident at 50nm NW HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)

Summary

2015-06-03: An Air Canada Embraer ERJ 190-100 IGW (C-FNAI/ ACA626) from Toronto, ON (CYYZ) to Halifax, NS (CYHZ) declared PAN PAN PAN 50nm NW of Halifax, NS. Computer malfunction, requires assistance getting off runway. CYHZ Duty Manager advised. Fire hall responded. Aircraft landed and taxied normally at 0441Z. No impact on operations.
2015-06-08: UPDATE: TSB Report#A15A0030: The Air Canada Embraer E190 (registration C-FNAI) aeroplane was en route to Halifax Stanfield International (CYHZ) from Toronto Pearson (CYYZ). While 50 NM NW of Halifax, the aircraft had a computer malfunction "Avionics/modular avionics unit? EICAS fail and possibly degraded braking. The crew declared a ?PAN PAN?. The aircraft was vectored for the final approach course and landed safely. A reset was carried out and the aircraft was deemed serviceable.
