2015-05-29: At 0419Z, in vicinity of 5226N3635W, an American Airlines Airbus A330-200 (N292AY/ AAL700) from Philadelphia, PA (KPHL) to Frankfurt, Germany (EDDF) declared a medical emergency through flight service station (FSS) and requested direct Gander, NL (CYQX). The pilot followed contingency procedures and was descending. Air traffic control (ATC) issued a clearance for FL340 and re-routed the aircraft direct CYQX. Landed at 0612Z.
