Incident at 45 56 49N/060 37 40W


2015-05-21: A Canlink Aviation Diamond DA 20-C1 (C-FMZZ) from Sydney, NS (CYQY) to Moncton, NB (CYQM) reported directed laser at 0413Z at position 45 56 49N/ 060 37 40W. The aircraft was at altitude 6500 asl, heading 260 degrees, the laser was from the ground and left of track. Laser was green in colour. Exposure was 10-15 seconds three times. The effect was temporary blindness, the aircraft banked to avoid the laser. Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) contacted.
