Incident at 25 NM SW Moncton, NB VOR/DME (YQM)

Summary

2015-05-12: A Government of Canada, Department of National Defence Lockheed P-3 (TRLS16) on a local flight from Greenwood, NS (CYZX) was passed VFR traffic, a CANLink Aviation Diamond DA 20-C1 (C-FCUS) on a local flight from Moncton, NB (CYQM), that was not in contact with Moncton Centre at 6500 feet. TRLS16 advised that a traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS) indicated the VFR was in a climb and that a resolution was going to occur. Resolution then occurred, and TRLS16 climbed to 7500 feet then visual contact was made.
