Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT)


2015-04-28: An Air Canada Airbus A320-211 (C-FPWD/ ACA692) from Toronto, ON (CYYZ) to St. John's, NL (CYYT) overshot Runway 34 due to having trouble tracking the beacon for the non-directional beacon (NDB) approach. The aircraft was too high on the approach and elected to overshoot. ACA692 Landed safely at 1931Z. The pilot believed it was due to an equipment on board the aircraft. No impact on operations.
