Incident at 40 NM E TOPPS Intersection

Summary

2015-04-17: An American corporately registered Bombardier CL-600-2B16 (N65PX) from Great Barrington, MA (KGBR) to Hannover, Germany (EDDV) was observed 5 miles south of expected track. When queried by the controller, the pilot reported that they were direct to ELSIR, but then reported that they had two flight plans and that they preferred the TUDEP routing. Boston and Moncton only had the TUDEP flight plan. There was no evidence of a second flight plan in either unit. There was no safety issue as a result of the unexpected routing.
