Summary

2015-04-17: At 1700Z, a British Airways Boeing 777 200 (GVIIE / BAW67V) from London, UK (EGLL) to Philadelphia, PA (KPHL) was observed on radar to be approximately 20 miles south off course. The flight was cleared a flight plan route which was DORRY to COVAN, the flight was flying DORRY to TAFFY. The company filed two flight plans. Air traffic control (ATC) was using the first flight plan, according to procedure. The flight crew was using the second. ATC cleared the flight direct TAFFY on course. No traffic. No impact on operations.
