Incident at LAKES Intersection


2015-03-27: A Delta Air Lines Airbus A330-300 (DAL170) from Paris, France (LFPG) to Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN (KMSP) was over position LAKES Intersection when the flight declared a medical emergency for a passenger. The flight initially diverted to Goose Bay, NL (CYYR). At 1546Z, 130 miles north of CYYR, the passenger was reported deceased and the flight continued to original destination.
