Summary

2015-03-27: A snowplow (GRADER150) was instructed to exit Runway 11 at 0320Z. The driver informed Tower that snowplow was stuck in the snow and required assistance to get out. Tower notified Gander area control centre (ACC) that the two inbound flights, an Air Canada Embraer ERJ 190-100 IGW (C-FGMF / ACA658) from Halifax, NS (CYHZ) to St. John's, NL (CYYT), and an Air Canada Airbus A321-211 (C-GIUE / ACA292) from Toronto, ON (CYYZ) to Halifax, NS (CYHZ) would need to hold. GRADER150 was removed at 0335Z and the 2 flights then landed without further incident.
