Incident at GANDER INTL NL (CYQX)
2015-02-24: Update from Maintenance & Manufacturing: Aircraft registration identified as C-GLXV. The aircraft was indicating excessively high oil temperature on the right hand engine during cruise. Initial troubleshooting carried out by maintenance personnel proceeded to replace a thermostatic bypass valve and check valve. A test flight was carried out unsuccessfully. Subsequent troubleshooting resulted in the replacement of the engine oil temperature bulb and the oil cooler. Test flight was carried out with satisfactory results and the aircraft was returned to service. A Service Difficulty Report was submitted.
2015-02-12: An Exploits Valley Beech 1900D (EV7630) from Deer Lake, NL (CYDF) to Gander, NL (CYQX) was inbound with temperature indicator light. No assistance required. Aircraft rescue and fire fighting (ARFF) advised. Aircraft landed without further incident.
