Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
2015-01-23: UPDATE: Fredericton Airport Report: The airport was contacted by Air Traffic Control (ATC) regarding a Diamond Eclipse 8 minutes out that was landing on runway 27 with a rough running engine. Airport vehicle (Red 60 remained on the apron, while two other vehicles (Red 8 and 9) proceeded to Taxi Alpha. The aircraft landed with no incident at 2015Z. The aircraft was followed back to its apron. Vehicles (Red 6, 8 and 9) returned to station in service at 2033Z.
2015-01-16: A CANLink Aviation Diamond DA 20-C1 (C-FUZG), on a local flight from Fredericton, NB (CYFC), inbound reported engine running rough and requested priority landing. Landed Runway 27 without incident. Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) notified. No impact on operations.
2015-04-15: Update from Maintenance & Manufacturing: The pilot reported a slight loss of powering during flight. The engine spark plugs were replaced; timing and engine compressions checked. Maintenance found a sticky intake on one cylinder which was repaired. Engine runs were carried out and the Continental fuel setup completed with adjustments made. A test flight was carried out with no issues.
