Incident at ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT) (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)

Summary

2015-01-15: Gander, NL (CYQX) Area Control Centre (ACC) advised that a United States Air Force Lockheed C-130 (Hercules) (RCH546), from St. John's, NL (CYTT) to Ramstein Air Base, Germany (ETAR), was returning to CYYT, declared emergency and shut down no. 3 engine. RCH546 then advised that no assistance was required. RCH546 landed safely on Runway 29 at 1605Z. Emergency Rescue Services (ERS) followed the aircraft on runway and observed fuel spill during turnaround after landing. Runway 29 was closed for clean up. 1 from ST. JOHN'S INTL NL (CYYT) to (ETAR)
