Incident at air defence identification zone (ADIZ)

Summary

2015-09-21: At 1808Z the Kamloops FIC received and VFR flight plan closure message from Prince Rupert AAS regarding an Inland Air Charters de Havilland DHC-2 MK I (C-FOSP) from Masset Waterdrome, BC (CBN4) arriving in Seal Cove/Prince Rupert Waterdrome, BC (CZSW). The FIC did not have a flight plan regarding this aircraft. Investigation found that the pilot did not file a DVFR flight plan to depart the air defence identification zone (ADIZ).
