Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2015-10-21: Update Maintenance & Manufacturing: Pilot reported that when they were inbound to land they started getting ammeter fluctuations. Ammeter indicating charge/discharge. After landing the Garmin GPS/Com 430 shutdown most likely due to low voltage on the aircraft. Maintenance found a wire broken at the field connector to the alternator. Wire connector was replaced and system checked with no further issues.
2015-10-21: While on taxiway Bravo, a Canlink Aviation Diamond DA 20-C1 (C-GPUX) on a local flight from Fredericton, NB (CYFC) had a communication failure. Instructor called on cell phone and was given further taxi instructions to the MFC apron. No impact on operations.
