2015-10-21: A Canlink Aviation Diamond DA 20-C1 (C-FNTK) from Moncton, NB (CYQM) to Fredericton, NB (CYFC) departed runway 29 at 1428Z. Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft requested a return to CYQM due to a rough running engine. The aircraft landed safely at 1435Z. No operational impact.
2015-10-21: Update Maintenance & Manufacturing: The maintenance manager spoke to the pilot after the flight. The pilot reported that it was a vibration rather than a rough engine and that it seemed to be airframe related. Maintenance inspected the aircraft, checked engine, propeller and mounts for damage and carried out a ground run. No issues were found and the aircraft was sent for a test flight with no vibrations reported by the pilot. The aircraft was released.
