Incident at GANDER INTL NL (CYQX)

Summary

2015-10-22: After initial contact with the Tower, an Exploits Valley Air Services Beech 1900D (C-GSNQ/ EV7617) from St. John's, NL (CYYT) to Gander, NL (CYQX) advised Tower they were experiencing radio issues. The aircraft squawked 7600 shortly after. The light gun was used but communications were re-established on a 2NM final and the aircraft was cleared to land. The aircraft landed runway 03 at 1325Z and taxied to the apron with no further issues. The aircraft requested taxi to Gander Flight Training at 1338Z and light gun was used as the aircraft experienced another radio failure.
