Summary

2015-10-21: Aviation Incident Report # 13300: Upon departure, a Jazz Aviation (JZA8947) struck a flock of birds. ARFF responded and picked up the remains of approximately 10-12 carcasses of snow buntings all of which were very fragmented on the runway. No operational impact.
2015-10-21: A Jazz Aviation de Havilland DHC 8-402 (C-GGNY/ JZA8947) from Saint John, NB (CYSJ) to Toronto, ON (CYYZ) on departure runway 23 had a bird strike on rotation. The pilot reported aircraft OK and continued flight. ARFF checked runway 23 and picked up many pieces of birds which looked like snow bunting. No impact on operations.
