Summary

2015-10-22: Airpsace moving reservation (German Air Force Deployment) A German Air Foce Airbus 310 (GAF598) and two Dassault Mirage aircraft (FAF9171 and FAF9172) were handed off at PEPRA from Moncton (CZQM) to Gander (CZQX). Moncton advised that both mirages had declared emergency and the entire cell would be diverting to St. John's, NL (CYYT). GAF598 checked in and advised that both mirages were experiencing icing problems, which was causing control issues and they had lost all instruments. They were following the A310 visually. Because of a low overcast layer at CYYT they diverted to Gander, NL (CYQX). FAF9172 on at 1655Z, FAF9171 on at 1656Z and GAF598 on at 1710Z.
