Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2014-12-15: At 1333Z, a privately registered Schweizer 269C-1 on a local flight from Fredericton, NB (CYFC) called on cell phone to report he was now no radio (NORDO). Instructed to call on cell phone when inbound to airport for landing. At 1352Z, the aircraft called on cell 6nm Northeast inbound, cleared direct to Plaza Helipad and told to watch for light gun signal. At 1357Z, the aircraft called on Tower frequency, no longer NORDO. Landed at 1404Z with no further incident.
