Incident at 20 NE FREDERICTON INTL NB (CYFC)

Summary

2014-12-12: A Westjet Boeing 737 (WJA658) from Toronto, ON (CYYZ) to Charlottetown, PE (CYYG) was descending to FL350 opposite direction to a Jazz Canadair RJ 900 Regional Jet (JZA8859) from Charlottetown to Toronto, climbing to FL340. A Jazz Canadair RJ 200 Regional Jet (JZA8895) from Halifax, NS (CYHZ) to Boston (KBOS), climbing to FL300, was 90 nautical miles south of these 2 aircraft. JZA8859 requested climb to FL360 and was so cleared. The controller detected the potential conflict and took appropriate action; separation was maintained.
