Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2014-11-28: A Canlink Aviation Diamond DA 20-C1 (C-FNZQ) on a local flight from Fredericton, NB (CYFC) reported high oil pressure indications and returning to YFC for landing. ARFF on standby. The aircraft landed at 0112Z with no further incident.
2014-11-28: Update Maintenance & Manufacturing: The snag indicated by pilot was low oil pressure, oil temperature over green arc. Maintenance inspected the engine and completed an extensive ground run. With maximum oil temperature (top of green) oil pressure found to be within limit at full power and at idle speeds. No faults were found. Contributing factors are the +25 degree temperatures and that due to a small oil cooler on these aircraft, prolonged ground running will give higher temperatures quickly.
