Incident at FREDERICTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Summary

2014-11-26: A Department of National Defence Bell 412 Helicopter (WOLF12) on an IFR departure off Gagetown, NB (CYCX) on a flight to Fredericton, NB (CYFC), was observed on radar at 2500 feet inside the CYFC control zone flying direct the YFC VOR (Very High Frequency Omni-directional Radio Range) with no contact or coordination with the tower. Runway 27 was active. No aircraft on approach.
