Incident at DEER LAKE NL (CYDF)

Summary

2014-11-04: UPDATE: TSB Report A13A0039: The Exploits Valley Air Services Hawker Beechcraft 1900 aircraft (C-GAAT), operating as flight EV7635, had departed Deer Lake enroute to Goose Bay. Shortly after take-off the crew noted the right engine oil pressure fluctuating within the normal operating range. The aircraft returned to Deer Lake and landed without further incident. The oil quantity was checked after landing and found to be 3 quarts low. Company maintenance determined the oil consumption to be excessive and replaced the engine.
2014-11-04: EV7635, Beech 1900D, enroute from Deer Lake (CYDF) to Goose Bay (CYYR), departed Deer Lake at 20:42Z. At 20:46Z, the flight crew reported an indicator light warning. The flight cancelled IFR and returned to Deer Lake. The aircraft landed safely at 20:52Z. No emergency was declared.
