Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ)
2017-03-06: JZA8882 DHC 8 102, enroute from Halifax (CYHZ) to Deer Lake (CYDF), requested clearance to return to Halifax due to a caution light indication. No assistance was required and there was no impact on operations.
2017-03-06: UPDATE TSB: A13A0020: The Jazz De Havilland DHC-8 airplane (C-FABW), operating as flight JZA882, was on a scheduled flight from Halifax, NS to Deer Lake, NF. After take-off with the landing gear up and locked, the crew received a momentary unsafe gear warning indication; all door lights and the gear handle red warning light illuminated. All of the gear doors had cycled open then closed after about 5 seconds. This occurred twice within a few minutes. JZA882 returned to Halifax and landed without further incident. Company maintenance replaced three landing gear relays and carried out gear swings. The airplane was returned to service.
