Incident at GREATER MONCTON ROMEO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
2013-01-11: UPDATE Air Worthiness: Oil pressure was within limits on start-up and run-up. After take-off, oil temperature began to rise and oil pressure dropped below 30 psi. On the way back to land, the temperature rose above 220 degrees Fahrenheit and the pressure dropped to just above 10 psi. It was determined that both inlet baffles were installed when the outside temperature warranted only the inlet or outlet baffles be installed. A ground run was conducted without the inlet baffles. The oil temperature and oil pressure were found serviceable.
2013-01-10: C-FUZA, Diamond DA 20 C1, departed from Runway 24 in Moncton (CYQM) at 15:51Z. At 15:54Z, the pilot reported high oil temperature and low oil pressure. The aircraft returned for landing but declined assistance. C-FUZA landed on Runway 24 at 15:57Z.
