Incident at MONTRÉAL INTL (MIRABEL) QC (CYMX)
2011-04-01: C-GZMV, a Piper PA30 operated by Lachute Aviation, was on a local VFR flight at Lachute (CSE4) with a stop at Mirabel (CYMX). On a downwind leg for Mirabel airport, the pilot reported not having any confirmation that the landing gear had extended and requested that a vehicle be in position for confirmation. The driver of the vehicle reported that all the wheels seemed to be out. The aircraft landed without incident; emergency vehicles were present. The aircraft took off for Lachute a few minutes later. No impact on ATC operations.
2011-06-15: Update #1: According to information from the Aircraft Maintenance Division: The green landing gear bulb had burned out and was replaced. The aircraft was returned to service.
