Incident at GOOSE BAY NL (CYYR)


2011-02-10: AWE729, Airbus A330-200, enroute from London (EGLL) to Philadelphia (KPHL), declared a medical emergency and requested clearance to Goose Bay (CYYR). The flight crew advised that company dispatch was taking care of the details and requested Air Traffic Control (ATC) to arrange for an ambulance at Goose Bay. The aircraft was cleared direct to Goose Bay. No other assistance was required.
