Incident at SAINT JOHN NB (CYSJ)

Summary

2011-02-07: JZA788, DHC 8 301, enroute from Montreal (CYUL) to Saint John (CYSJ), was on final approach to Runway 23 when the Flight Service Specialist (FSS) observed the aircraft climbing. When queried, the pilot responded they were conducting a missed approach. The FSS informed the Area Control Centre (ACC), and advised the pilot to contact the ACC. The aircraft reported a flap problem and diverted to Halifax. There was no impact on operations. See also CADOR 2011A0092.
