Incident at SAINT JOHN NB (CYSJ)
2011-02-14: UPDATE Maintenance & Manufacturing: When the gear was selected down the transit light illuminated with no gear-down green indication. When the flight crew selected gear- up they felt the gear stow and the transit light went out. They selected down again and the gear went down and locked normally. They landed and checked the gear handle on the ground prior to shut down and all functions operated normally. When the flight returned to Moncton (CYQM) the gear was cycled several times and although there was no faults on the ground, an adjustment to the gear selector cable was performed. There have been no further problems in subsequent flights.
2011-02-03: SLQ501 PA31 enroute Halifax (CYHZ) to Saint John (CYSJ) on final advised FSS of gear warning light indication at 11:18Z. SLQ501 circled to the North and reported 3 green indication. The aircraft landed safely at 11:22Z. There was no impact on operations.
