Summary

2011-01-20: ACA690, Airbus A320 211, enroute from Toronto (CYYZ) to St. John?s (CYYT), was seven miles final for Runway 16 when the pilot requested clearance to execute a missed approach due to a "steering issue". Approximately two minutes later, the crew advised that all was okay and asked to be vectored back for the approach. The aircraft landed at 14:57Z without further incident. No emergency was declared or other assistance requested.
