2011-01-18: Fifty miles northwest of Halifax (CYHZ), VIR24, Airbus A340-300, enroute from Los Angeles (KLAX) to London (EGLL), advised of a medical emergency and requested clearance to divert to Halifax. The aircraft descended to 20,000 ft. and commenced a fuel dump at 11:00Z. The fuel dump was complete at 11:21Z. The aircraft landed at 11:43Z.
