Incident at New York/Gander Oceanic boundary

Summary

2011-01-14: CLX771, Boeing 747-400, enroute from New York (KJFK) to Luxembourg (ELLX), was cleared via New York to route 44N050W 48N040W 50N030W but reported at 44N050W proceeding direct 47N040W then estimating 49N030W next. Although the aircraft was still within New York Oceanic airspace, Gander Oceanic detected the error and coordinated a new routing to resolve the issue.
