Incident at DAWSON CREEK BC (CYDQ)

Summary

2010-06-17: The privately-registered Piper PA30, VFR Quesnel to Dawson Creek (CYDQ), reported 10 south of CYDQ and received an Arrival Advisory estimating the field in 5 minutes. When 5 minutes had elapsed and no further calls had been received from the aircraft, his position was requested. The pilot reported he was Backtracking Runway 06 and requested his flight plan be closed. He was requested at that time to report off the runway. No further calls were received from the aircraft. CYDQ Airport Staff were contacted to confirm that the aircraft had exited the runway. There was no operational impact.
