Incident at 15 miles east of LOMPI Intersection
Summary
2010-12-29: N100JS, Cessna 525, enroute from Gander (CYQX) to Hamilton (TXKF), was given an oceanic clearance to destination, and to climb at JEBBY intersection to 41,000 ft. The pilot read back ""At JEBBY we'll climb to 410". After the read back, the pilot climbed to 41,000 ft. without Air Traffic Control (ATC) clearance. The pilot was advised that he did not have a clearance to climb until JEBBY and was then issued an altitude assignment of 41,000 ft. There was no traffic and no impact on operations.
