Summary

2010-12-24: ACA696, Airbus A320, enroute from Halifax (CYHZ) to St. John?s (CYYT), attempted two approaches at St. John?s and executed a missed approach both times. The flight was re-cleared to Halifax as the alternate. The flight crew declared a 'fuel advisory'. When queried by the controller whether it was 'minimum fuel' or a 'fuel emergency' the pilot replied it was not an emergency but he was requesting priority. The aircraft landed on Runway 05 at Halifax without incident at 10:39Z.
