Incident at HALIFAX / STANFIELD INTL NS (CYHZ) (Incursion - runway - vehicle, ATS operating irregularity)
Summary
2010-12-17: A vehicle (Staff 29) requested clearance to enter Runway 32. The vehicle was instructed to hold short of Runway 32. Staff 29 read back hold short of 14 on 32. The ground controller missed the "on 32" portion of the read back. GGN7488, Beech 1900D, was about 1.5 miles final and cleared to land on the runway. The flight crew observed the vehicle entering the runway. The vehicle was removed from the runway and the aircraft continued the approach and landed safely.
